Kenneth Cotich is a guitarist, music teacher, and researcher living in Southern California.

In 2024, he completed his dissertation, The Tradition of Microtonal Guitar on the American West Coast, which contextualizes the shared priorities of music theorists and instrument designers working along the Pacific coast of North America. He performs regionally and has lectured internationally, while contributing music reviews to the online publications The Indy Review and Xenharmonikon. He formerly produced concerts for the Claremont Colleges, working primarily with Claremont Graduate University, Harvey Mudd College, and the Claremont Concert Orchestra. He has toured and worked with musicians on the East and West Coasts of the United States while maintaining a rigorous academic career. His music has been released by Loaded Sound, Emotionless Records, and independently.
